The Kinesis Ensemble are graduates from the Royal Academy, Royal College and Guildhall School of Music and Drama and were formed in April 2008 after coming together to launch the Little Venice Music Festival.

They recently auditioned for a new record label (Seven Cedars Records) and as a result will make their debut disc which will be an all Elgar CD. They have now recorded Elgar’s Piano Quintet in The Wigmore Hall (where the work was first performed) and will complete the rest of the disc in the Summer.

The aim of the Kinesis Ensemble is to be an ensemble of soloists coming together to play the great classics of the piano quintet repertoire. However they also have the flexibility and creativity to play in different combinations as well as creating their own original arrangements for the ensemble.
